Nikiti Guide 2026: Where to Stay in Nikiti & Sithonia

Nikiti is the undisputed "base camp" for Sithonia these days. It’s got the Old Town charm for your evening walks and a marina that’s always buzzing. But let’s be real: your choice of stay can either make your trip feel like a generic holiday or a proper Greek escape.

After scouting the coast, here is the shortlist of where you faktiskt want to drop your bags in 2026.

The "Treat Yourself" Category

If you’re coming to Sithonia to celebrate something (or just want to forget your inbox exists), these three are the heavy hitters.

  • Danai Beach Resort & Villas: This place is a legend for a reason. It doesn’t feel like a hotel; it feels like a private estate. It’s pricey, yes, but if you want a private beach and service that knows what you want before you do, this is it.

  • Assano Sea Front Luxury: The name isn't an exaggeration—you are literally right on the water. It’s modern, clean, and perfect for anyone who wants to roll out of bed and straight into the Egeian Sea.

  • Amantes Villas and Suites: My pick for the best sunset views in the area. It’s tucked away on a hill just enough to feel private, but close enough to Nikiti that you aren't isolated. It’s got that high-end, "quiet luxury" feel.

Right in the Mix: Nikiti Town

For those who want to be able to walk to dinner and grab a drink without worrying about parking or driving back in the dark.

  • Serenity Suites: This is arguably the coolest spot in town. It’s minimalist and tucked away just enough that you don't get the street noise, but you’re still only a few minutes from the promenade. The pool area is a great place to hide when the beaches get too crowded at midday.

  • Acrotel Porto Brava Luxury Villas: If you’re traveling with a group or the kids, these villas are the way to go. You get the space of a house but the perks of a hotel. It’s the easiest way to do a "home base" stay without sacrificing the luxury feel.

The Vourvourou Side Trip

Sometimes you want to be a little further out, closer to the famous blue lagoons and boat rentals.

  • Ekies All Senses Resort: This place is a design nerd’s dream. It’s very "barefoot luxury"—think hammocks in the water and eco-friendly vibes. It’s easily one of the most Instagrammable spots in Halkidiki.

  • Rema Hotel: A solid, comfortable choice in Vourvourou. It’s got a great saltwater pool, but the real win here is how close you are to the boat rentals. Rent a small motorboat for the day to see Diaporos Island—it’s non-negotiable for a 2026 trip.

Something Local & Grounded

  • Loxandra Studios: If you want a break from the "resort" lifestyle, Loxandra is charming and authentic. It’s a bit further back towards the hills, giving you a taste of the real, quiet side of the region.

Pro Tip for 2026: Nikiti is no longer a "secret." If you have your heart set on a specific villa at Amantes or a suite at Serenity, don't wait until May to book. The best spots are usually gone by the time the sun starts hitting the Aegean.
